Second Stage Round 3: TU/Rock - Gaz Metan 97-67

TU/Rock achieve the third straight win at the EuroChallenge Last 16. The Estonian side overcame Gaz Metan 97:67 and improved to 3-0 record. The Romanian tem fell at 0-3 record. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-67. TU/Rock shot 61.7 percent from the field. TU/Rock outrebounded Gaz Metan 36-21 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. TU/Rock looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Janar Talts who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Tanel Kurbas chipped in 24 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Radomir Marojevic who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Slavisa Bogavac added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
