Bakken surprise Ural Ekaterinburg in Aarhus and improved to 1-3 record in Group L of EuroChallenge Last 16. The Danish side posted a 92:84 win for the initial success. Ural Ekaterinburg meanwhile suffered their first loss and dropped at 3-1 record. Ural Ekaterinburg was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 25-10 third quarter run of Bakken. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Ural Ekaterinburg's 44. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Thomas Laerke who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds. Kenny Barker contributed with 22 points and 4 steals for the winners. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. Aaron McGhee replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Lance Harris added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ural Ekaterinburg. Bakken will play against KTP-Basket in Kotka in the next round, while Ural Ekaterinburg will play at home against Tsmoki-Minsk.
