Fraport Skyliners earned 1-0 lead in the EuroChallenge quarterfinal series. The German team narrowly defeated Enisey in Frankfurt in the best-of-three series opener. Cobbs tallied 20 points, 9 assists and 6 boards for the hosts. Enisey got to a quick start. The Krasnoyarsk team opened a 9-point lead after the opening quarter 22:13. Fraport Skyliners narrowed the distance in the second frame. They pulled within 3 points at the interval 33:36. The hosts drained 24 points in the third frame to get as close as one point at the final break. Robertson tied things up at 60 early in the fourth frame. Enisey regained the lead and maintained it throughout the bigger part of the final term. But Cobbs and Klein capped regulation with four points in a row and clinched the win for Fraport Skyliners. Voigtmann netted 19 points, while Robertson added 13 points for the home side. Kikanovic responded with 16 points for Enisey. Lesic had 15 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.
