Quarter-Finals Round 2: Le Mans - Rovinari 79-68

Le Mans held off visiting Rovinari to level things up at 1-1 in the series. The teams are set for the decisive third game in the series on March 17th. The game was mostly controlled by Le Mans. CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu was better in third quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Le Mans especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American-DR Congolese power forward Judson Wallace (206-82, college: Princeton) notched 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Antoine Eito (186-88) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Le Mans' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points and 4 assists by American guard Louis Darby (196-84, college: Long Beach St.) did not help to save the game for CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu. Greek center Andreas Glyniadakis (215-81, agency: Beo Basket) added 18 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Four CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu players scored in double figures.
