Regular Season Round 2: Chalon - Den Bosch 72-66

First defeat of league's leader Dutch Den Bosch (1-1) against French Chalon/Saor (2-0) 72-66 was the most important game of the last round. Den Bosch was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 assists. The other American import center Devin Booker (203-91, college: Clemson) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. Chalon/Saor's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian-Canadian forward Dejan Kravic (211-90, college: Texas Tech) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and Kees Akerboom (200-83, agency: Court Side) added 15 points in the effort for Den Bosch. Den Bosch will play next round against strong Gussing Knights trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Chalon/Saor will try to continue on its current victory against Zlatorog in Lasko.
