Regular Season Round 4: Zlatorog - Den Bosch 65-61

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Lasko where one of their biggest challengers Dutch Den Bosch (1-3) was defeated by fourth ranked Slovenian Zlatorog (1-3) 65-61 on Wednesday. Den Bosch trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 19-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 61-65 at the end of the game. Guard Miha Vasl (192-92) fired 25 points and 4 assists for the winners. Center Matej Krusic (208-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Arvin Slagter (191-85, agency: Court Side) produced 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Serbian-Canadian forward Dejan Kravic (211-90, college: Texas Tech) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Den Bosch's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zlatorog left bottom position moving up to third place in Group D, which they share with defeated Den Bosch. It was Den Bosch's third loss in a row. Zlatorog will face league's second-placed Gussing Knights on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Den Bosch will play against the league's leader Chalon/Saor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
