Not a big story in a game when 4th placed Slovakian Inter Bratislava (1-4) lost to second ranked Polish Slask (3-2) in Wroclaw 75-80 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-75. American swingman Anthony Smith (195-86, college: Liberty) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: Beo Basket) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Martin Rancik (205-78, college: Iowa St.) added 22 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Inter Bratislava. Slask maintains second place in Group M with 3-2 record behind leader ASVEL. Inter Bratislava lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with four games lost. Slask will face league's leader Royal Hali in Gaziantep in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Inter Bratislava will play at home against Siauliai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
