We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Utena where their biggest opponent Belgian Belfius Mons-Hainaut (2-2) was crushed by third ranked Lithuanian Juventus (2-2) 103-65 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Juventus led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Juventus outrebounded Belfius Mons-Hainaut 33-14 including a 22-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Belfius Mons-Hainaut was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Chavaughn Lewis (196-93, college: Marist) fired 28 points for the winners. Power forward Egidijus Dimsa (204-85) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Juventus players scored in double figures. American forward Robert Arnold (198-88, college: Boise St.) produced 16 points and center Amaury Gorgemans (212-92) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Juventus moved-up to second place in Group T, which they share with Mons-Hainaut. Juventus will face Bakken (#4) in Aarhus in the next round. Belfius Mons-Hainaut will play at home against the league's leader Khimik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
