Second Stage Round 6: Turk Telekom - Oostende 80-68

Undefeated Belgian Oostende (5-1) recorded its first loss in Ankara. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (5-1) 80-68. The game without a history. Turk Telekom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Turk Telekom outrebounded Oostende 33-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. American guard Manny Harris (196-89, college: Michigan) notched 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Michael Jenkins (193-86, college: Winthrop) supported him with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Even 11 points by Serbian center Rasko Katic (208-80, agency: Beo Basket) did not help to save the game for Oostende. American guard Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Beo Basket) added 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Turk Telekom went down to ninth position (Group Q) due to points difference, which they share with Openjobmetis V.
