Quarter-Finals Round 1: Enisey - Cibona 94-92

Enisey held on to a narrow lead late in regulation and delivered the opening victory in the series versus Cibona. It looked good early as Cibona took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Enisey had a 30-25 second period charge getting the lead and Cibona was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 92-94. Cibona was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tony Taylor (185-90, college: G.Washington) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 6 assists. American-Guyanese forward Delroy James (203-87, college: Rhode Island) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Ante Zizic (210-97) answered with 28 points and 9 rebounds and Filip Kruslin (198-89, agency: Beo Basket) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Cibona. Four Cibona players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
