Pau-Lacq-Orthez led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to TU/Rock's 24. Pau-Lacq-Orthez forced 21 TU/Rock turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by TU/Rock's players. The best player for the winners was Ivorian-French center Alain Koffi (207-83, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (207-91) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. American guard Mandell Thomas (188-93, college: Fordham) produced 12 points and Janar Talts (205-83) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will face Redwell Gunners Oberwart on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
