Regular Season Round 3: Limburg United - Gravelines 95-98

A very interesting game took place in Limburg. It ended with only three-point home defeat of Belgian Limburg United (0-3) to French Gravelines-Dunkerque (3-0) 98-95 on Wednesday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 31-27. But Limburg United won second period 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gravelines-Dunkerque made 24-of-31 charity shots (77.4 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Limburg United helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 19 points and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Seth Tuttle (203-92, college: N.Iowa) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists and swingman Elias Lasisi (192-92) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque's next round opponent will be Groningen at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Limburg United will play against Kormend and hopes to get finally their first victory.
