Not a big story in a game when Romania Steaua CSM (0-3) lost to Israeli Bnei Hasharon (2-1) in Hod Hasharon 85-90 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for forward Karam Mashour (198-91, college: Morehead St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Stephen Dennis (198-87, college: Kutztown, agency: HMS) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. American guard Cameron Long (193-88, college: George Mason, agency: Inception Sports) answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Dave Dudzinski (206-92, college: Holy Cross, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 20 points in the effort for Steaua CSM. Bnei Hasharon will face Lukoil Acad. in Sofia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Steaua CSM will play at home against Prievidza and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
