Second Stage Round 3: Nanterre - Tsmoki-Minsk 94-85

Date: January 4, 2017
Rather predictable result when French JSF Nanterre (3-0) won against at home Belarusian Tsmoki-Minsk (1-2) 94-85 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 49-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. JSF Nanterre made 32-of-39 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Tsmoki-Minsk only scored twelve points from the stripe. Tsmoki-Minsk was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Chris Warren (178-88, college: Mississippi) who led his team to a victory with 27 points. His fellow American import forward Brian Conklin (198-89, college: St.Louis) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Dru Joyce (184-85, college: Akron) answered with 21 points and 5 assists and Montenegrin Nemanja Milosevic (204-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Tsmoki-Minsk. Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. JSF Nanterre will face Kormend on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tsmoki-Minsk will play against Bnei Hasharon in Hod Hasharon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
