Nanterre knocked down Spirou to advance into the quarterfinal stage. The game without a history. JSF Nanterre led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. JSF Nanterre outrebounded Spirou Charleroi 30-18. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was American point guard Chris Warren (178-88, college: Mississippi) who scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. German point guard Heiko Schaffartzik (183-84) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. Four JSF Nanterre players scored in double figures. American guard DJ Richardson (190-91, college: Illinois, agency: Inception Sports) produced 23 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Serbian power forward Ivan Radenovic (209-84, college: Arizona) added 16 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
