Quarter-Finals Round 1: Enisey - Oostende 84-72

Enisey knocked down visiting Oostende for the first win in the quarterfinals. The game was mostly controlled by Enisey. Oostende was better in second period 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Enisey won last quarter 24-13. They made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game, while Oostende only scored ten points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of U.S. Virgin Islands-Guyanese center Frank Elegar (208-86, college: Drexel) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. American swingman Anthony Hilliard (193-86, college: Elizabeth City) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Enisey players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Dusan Djordjevic (193-83, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 9 points and 4 assists and Serbian center Rasko Katic (208-80, agency: BeoBasket) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Oostende. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
