Nevezis topped AEK to stepped closer to the regular season. The game without a history. Nevezis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game, while AEK only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded AEK 44-25 including a 38-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Russian forward Valery Likhodey (205-86, agency: Alti Sport) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. American guard James Woodard (191-94, college: Tulsa) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Five Nevezis players scored in double figures. Serbian forward Danilo Tasic (207-93, agency: 011 Sports) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian forward Tomislav Petrovic (202-85) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for AEK in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
