We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Israeli Bnei Hasharon (1-1) lost to Belarusian Tsmoki-Minsk (1-1) in Hod Hasharon 63-69 on Wednesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bnei Hasharon won third quarter 14-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian-Bosnian point guard Filip Adamovic (183-88, agency: 011 Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points. Swedish-American guard Chris Czerapowicz (201-91, college: Davidson) contributed with 7 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Shawn Dawson (198-93) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds and American-Georgian point guard Taurean Green (184-85, college: Florida) added 18 points in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Tsmoki-Minsk will face Alba (#4) in Szekesfehervar in the next round. Bnei Hasharon will play on the road against Spirou Charleroi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
