An interesting game for Dutch Groningen (2-0) which played road game in Sarajevo against Bosnian Bosna-Royal (0-2). Groningen had an easy win 72-43. The game without a history. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Bosna-Royal to just 4 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Bosna-Royal 40-22 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American-Dutch swingman Jason Dourisseau (196-83, college: Nebraska) who scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Evan Bruinsma (202-92, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Groningen players scored in double figures. Guard Adi Alikadic (190-99) produced 9 points and 4 assists and American forward DeVon Walker (198-94, college: Troy) added 9 points respectively for the hosts. Bosna-Royal's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Groningen's next round opponent will be Antwerp Giants (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. Bosna-Royal will play against Le Portel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
