Regular Season Round 6: Tsmoki-Minsk - Alba 87-82
Date: December 6, 2017
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Belarusian Tsmoki-Minsk as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group F. Tsmoki-Minsk defeated top-ranked Hungarian Alba at home 87-82. It was a key game for the top position in Group F. The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 30-19 last quarter charge of Alba cut the lead to 87-82 at the end of the game. Tsmoki-Minsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Swedish-American guard Chris Czerapowicz (201-91, college: Davidson) notched 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and American power forward David Kravish (208-92, college: California) supported him with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 18 points and 9 assists by American guard Kasey Hill (185-93, college: Florida) did not help to save the game for Alba. His fellow American import swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: 3Eye) added 21 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Szolnok. Defending Hungarian champion Alba dropped to the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Falco-Vulcano.
