No shocking result in a game when second ranked Turkish Istanbul BBSK (5-1) outleveled on the road 4th ranked Georgian Dinamo Tbilisi (0-6) 97-70 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Istanbul BBSK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Istanbul BBSK looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Dinamo Tbilisi was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Croatian power forward Ivan Buva (208-91) had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian power forward Stefan Bircevic (210-89) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Istanbul BBSK players scored in double figures. Istanbul BBSK's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Serbian forward Nikola Gacesa (206-87, college: TCU) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and American center Kiel Turpin (213-89, college: Florida St.) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Istanbul BBSK keeps a position of Group E leader, which they share with N.Novgorod. Defending Georgian champion Dinamo Tbilisi still closes the standings with six games lost.
