Avellino fired past Juventus at home court to rally into Final Four. The game was mostly controlled by Scandone AV. Juventus managed to win third quarter 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Scandone AV looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Maarten Leunen (206-85, college: Oregon) who scored 5 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Uruguayan point guard Bruno Fitipaldo (183-91, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 8 points and 8 assists. Scandone AV's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ukrainian power forward Maxym Korniyenko (205-87) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Mindaugas Kupsas (217-91, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
