There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Eurocup. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

First defeat of Spanish Gernika against Hungarian PEAC-Pecs 62-60 was the most important game of the last round. PEAC-Pecs outrebounded Gernika 36-23 including 23 on the defensive glass. Czech center Julia Reisingerova (194-1998) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Agnes Studer (169-1998) contributed with 8 points and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) replied with 13 points and 6 assists for Gernika. Gernika will play next round against strong E.Ramla trying to make it back to the top of the standings. PEAC-Pecs will try to continue on its current victory against Sportiva in Ponta Delgada.
Spanish Ferrol smashed Czech SBS Ostrava at home 100-64. Guard Blanca Millan (185-1998, college: Maine) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Dalayah Daniels chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American guard Oliana Squires (175-1998, college: Montana St.) responded with 16 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SBS Ostrava will play next round against strong Benfica trying to get back on the winning streak. Ferrol will try to continue on its current victory against Sosnowiec on the road.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Kosovan Peja 03 in Vilnius on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Lithuanian Kibirkstis 85-69. American players dominated the game. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kibirkstis will meet Chomutov on the road in the next round. Peja 03 will play against Keltern in Remchingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: winless Sportiva lost to undefeated E.Ramla on the road 56-86. Crvena zvezda won against Saarlouis on its own court 78-65. Estudiantes managed to outperform Piestanske C. in Madrid 64-52. San Giovanni lost to Kangoeroes at home 54-72. Szekszard defeated Sf.Gheorghe on the opponent's court 63-49. Wroclaw was beaten by Villeneuve in a home game 70-78. Benfica lost to Sosnowiec on the road 63-73. Zabiny Brno outscored Tresnjevka on its own court 83-58. Keltern managed to beat Chomutov in Remchingen 66-60. Angers lost to Rapid at home 79-86. Campobasso smashed Royal Braine on the opponent's court 72-46. Charnay won against Gorzow Wlkp. in a home game 84-70. Nyon lost to Avenida on the road 53-81. Winless Beroe lost to Swiss defending champion Fribourg on its own court 62-84. TTT Riga lost to Emlak in Istanbul 56-84. Neptunas were beaten by Panathinaikos at home 69-82. Student lost to undefeated Lublin on the opponent's court 62-86. Besiktas managed to outperform Athinaikos in a home game 87-84. KP Brno rolled over Ragusa on the road 85-46. BLMA crushed Sassari on its own court 101-72. Namur beat Jairis in a road game 62-53. Winless Sportiva lost to undefeated E.Ramla at home 51-87.
The most impressive performance of 2nd round was 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists by Chelsea Nelson of E.Ramla.

E.Ramla - Sportiva 86-56

No shocking result in a game when Israeli E.Ramla crushed at home Portuguese Sportiva 86-56 on Tuesday. E.Ramla shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Anguillan-British power forward Mikiah Herbert-Harrigan (188-1998, college: S.Carolina) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and British forward Cheridene Green (191-1995, college: Tennessee) supported her with 17 points and 12 rebounds. E.Ramla's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 7 points and 13 rebounds by Brazilian center Monique Soares (190-1996) did not help to save the game for Sportiva. American-Brazilian guard Bella Nascimento (173-2002, college: William & Mary) added 11 points for the guests. E.Ramla will meet at home Gernika in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
