Not a big story in a game when French Cholet Basket (1-5) was defeated on the road by Hungarian Szolnok (4-2) 74-67 on Tuesday. Cholet Basket trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 24-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 67-74 at the end of the game. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Justin Holiday (198-89, college: Washington) scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Eric Chatfield (191-79, college: N.Mexico) with 14 points and 4 assists and American-Venezuelan guard John Cox (195-81, college: USF) scored 9 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Szolnok clinched the second position in the ladder and secured the next round appearance.
