Regular Season Round 2: TU/Rock - Lukoil Acad. 71-59

TU/Rock used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Sofia 71-59 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. Lukoil Acad. was better in fourth quarter 27-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Janar Talts (205-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Valmo Kriisa (190-74) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners. TU/Rock's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Charles Thomas (203-86, college: Arkansas) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Terry Smith (185-86, college: Mercyhurst) added 15 points in the effort for Lukoil Acad.TU/Rock will face Kormend on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lukoil Acad. will play against CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu.
