The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 46-20 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Deutsche Bank Skyliners dominated on the defensive end, holding Okapi Aalstar to just 6 points in third quarter. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Tyren Johnson (202-88, college: La-Lafayette) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import Taylor Braun (201-91, college: N.Dakota St., agency: Priority Sports) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Deutsche Bank Skyliners maintains third position in Group C with 2-2 record behind leader Enel Brindisi. Loser Okapi Aalstar still keeps top place with one game lost. They share the position with Boras. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will meet bottom-ranked Bakken (#4) in the next round. Okapi Aalstar will play against the league's second-placed Boras Basket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
