Regular Season Round 6: Le Mans - Angelico BI 88-74

The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked French Le Mans' (5-1) home victory over second-best Italian Angelico Biella (3-3) 88-74 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Le Mans. Angelico Biella was better in fourth quarter 29-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Le Mans dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Angelico Biella's 26. They outrebounded Angelico Biella 45-24 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. DR Congolese-French forward Charles Kahudi (199-86, agency: Beo Basket) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Rodrigue Beaubois (186-88, agency: Comsport) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-Danish guard Alan Voskuil (191-86, college: Texas Tech) with 22 points and American swingman Benjamin Raymond (198-87, college: Xavier, agency: KMG Sports Management) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Angelico Biella players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Le Mans maintains first position in Group G with 5-1 record. Loser Angelico Biella keeps the second place with three games lost.
