Date: December 16, 2014
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when second ranked Kazakhstan Astana (5-1) edged at home top-ranked Russian Avtodor (5-1) 75-73 on Tuesday. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in Group D. The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Avtodor outrebounded Astana 40-26 including 30 on the defensive glass.
