Dutch Den Bosch (#3) forced the game against Russian Avtodor (#1) into a double-overtime, but lost by one point 107-108 on Tuesday night. The game took place in Den Bosch. But the guests from Saratov were better at the end. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 25-19 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 0-point victory in double-overtime. Den Bosch was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: Three Eye Sports) fired 26 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. The other American import power forward Travis Peterson (208-85, college: Samford) chipped in 25 points. American guard Brandyn Curry (187-91, college: Harvard) produced 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Kees Akerboom (200-83, agency: Court Side) added 27 points (made all of his eight free throws) respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Avtodor have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Avtodor maintains first position in Group K with 3-1 record, which they share with Fraport SKY. Den Bosch at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Avtodor will face bottom-ranked TU/Rock in Tartu in the next round. Den Bosch will play at home against the group's second-placed Deutsche Bank Skyliners.
