The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd ranked Estonian TU/Rock's (1-3) road loss to second ranked German Deutsche Bank Skyliners (3-1) 73-92 on Tuesday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Deutsche Bank Skyliners's pressure prevailed and they won that period 35-17 extending their advantage to 19 points. It was a great shooting night for Deutsche Bank Skyliners especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. Center Johannes Voigtmann (210-92) fired 26 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. Janar Talts (205-83) produced 19 points and point guard Tanel Sokk (182-85) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. TU/Rock's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Deutsche Bank Skyliners keep a position of Group K leader, which they share with Avtodor. TU/Rock at the other side dropped to the bottom place with three games lost. Deutsche Bank Skyliners will face Den Bosch on the road in the next round. TU/Rock will play against the league's leader Avtodor and hope to win that game.
