There was no surprise when 4th ranked Belgian Belfius Mons-Hainaut (1-5) was defeated on the road by first ranked Turkish Trabzonspor (5-1) 76-68 on Tuesday. Belfius Mons-Hainaut trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 23-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-76 at the end of the game. Serbian forward Novica Velickovic (205-86, agency: Beo Basket) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian-Bosnian center Andrija Stipanovic (209-86, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. Trabzonspor's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest.
