Second Stage Round 6: TU/Rock - Den Bosch 71-64

Everything could happen in Tartu at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Estonian TU/Rock and one of their biggest challengers Dutch Den Bosch had identical 1-4 record. This time TU/Rock used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Den Bosch 71-64 on Tuesday night. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 22-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Janar Talts (205-83) scored 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Lithuanian guard Augustas Peciukevicius (192-91) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. TU/Rock's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was forward Stefan Wessels (203-84, agency: R.H.Consultancy) with 9 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Chris Denson (188-91, college: Auburn, agency: Three Eye Sports) scored 9 points. TU/Rock (2-4) finished in the third place in Group K. Loser Den Bosch dropped to the bottom position with five games lost.
