Cypriot Basketball League (ECOMMBX Basket League) History
League status
The ECOMMBX Basket League is the first-tier professional basketball league in Cyprus. ECOMMBX BL was established in 1966.
The ECOMMBX BL sits above the Division B1 which effectively forms the second-tier of Cypriot basketball.
At the end of regular season, top 4 teams qualify to the play-offs.
The bottom team is relegated to Division B1.
Limits of non-Cypriot players per team: 4 import players (non-Europeans), 4 Bosman players (with European passport) . Total number of allowed imports and Bosmans is 8.
