Naestved celebrated the Danish Cup title. They nipped Horsens in the Final tonight. Phillip Nolan (210-C/F-93, college: Connecticut, agency: Two Points) sank two free throws with time expiring in regulation to bring Naestved to the trophy. Earnest Ross (196-G-91, college: Missouri) topscored with 21 points for the winners. Naestved grabbed a 21:18 lead after ten minutes. Horsens erased the deficit in the second frame. They pulled ahead for a narrow 38:37 halftime lead. The home side extended the lead in the third stanza. Horsens piled up a 58:54 advantage before the fourth term. But Naestved dropped 27 points including go-ahead free throws from Phillip Nolan late in regulation to snatch the win at the end. Deon Mitchell (186-G-93, college: N.Iowa) delivered 18 points, while Cheikh Sane (207-C/F-92, college: Marshall, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points and 10 boards for the winners.
