Oxaco BBC earn Top Division I title - May 7, 2019

Waregem - Oxaco 61-76

Oxaco celebrated Top Division I title. They upset Waregem in the decider to lift the trophy. The game was mostly controlled by Oxaco. Waregem managed to win fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Waregem helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Sam Van-Hoey (190-91) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Jonas Foerts (195-96) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Oxaco players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Aaron Van-Vooren (200-94) who recorded 17 points and point guard Arne Steinbach (180-92, agency: Court Side) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
