The Regular Season in A League just ended.
The game between third ranked Arena-76 (8-7) and fourth ranked BC Titebi (8-7) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Arena-76 was defeated by BC Titebi in a tough game at home 91-97. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-14. But Arena-76 won third quarter 31-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Titebi made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Arena-76 turnovers. Strangely Arena-76 outrebounded BC Titebi 52-30 including a 26-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Armani Flannigan (203-92, college: N.Texas) who led his team to a victory with 32 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Ryan Aaron (190-91, college: S.Nazarene) contributed with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. American power forward Peter Alexis (213-92, college: Philadelphia) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds for Arena-76. BC Titebi moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Arena-76. A League top team - DELTA (12-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked SEU Tbilisi (1-14) 135-83. It was a great evening for American Deondre Ray (196, college: Cameron) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Saba Lobjanidze helped adding 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. DELTA's coach Legso Lapanashvili felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Kakha Giorgadze (197-94) with 38 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists. DELTA have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted DELTA maintains first place with 12-3 record. SEU Tbilisi at the other side stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. The game in Tskaltubo supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Hyundai-TSU (11-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Tskaltubo (5-10). Hyundai-TSU smashed Tskaltubo 92-63 on Monday. It was an exceptional evening for Giorgi Feriashvili who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Coach Nikoloz Cherkezishvili's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Giorgi Kiladze came up with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Tskaltubo in the defeat. Hyundai-TSU maintains second place with 11-4 record behind leader DELTA. Tskaltubo lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost.

DELTA players were unselfish on offense dishing 41 assists comparing to just 24 passes made by SEU Tbilisi's players.
