Grindavik are the new Express League champions. They overcame Thor Thorl on the road to clinch the trophy. J'Nathan Bullock (196-F-87, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Cleveland St.) stepped up with impressive 36 points and 8 rebounds to pace the winners. Grindavik surged ahead early in the game. The visitors posted 20:15 lead after ten minutes. Thor Thorl however stopped the bleeding in the second quarter. The hosts took over and surged ahead. Thor Thorl registered a 36:33 halftime advantage. Grindavik went off the dressing room firing from all guns. They accounted for 26 points in the quarter taking a 6-point lead at the final intermission. Thor Thorl got within a single point 70:71 with under a minute remaining in regulation. But J'Nathan Bullock came up with six points in the reminder of the contest and sealed the win for Grindavik. Sigurdur Thorsteinsson (204-C-88) provided 12 points and 9 rebounds, while Thorleifur Olafsson (192-G/F-84) knocked down 10 points in the win. Darrin Govens (185-G-88, college: St.Joseph's) reacted with 26 points for Thor Thorl. Joseph Henley (196-F-85, college: Sacred Heart) notched 17 points in the loss.

Keflavik celebrated the Powerade Cup title. They narrowly defeated Tindastoll in the Final. Charles Parker (193-G-85, college: Millersville) stepped up with 32 points and 13 rebounds to pace the effort. It was a tough battle from start to finish. Keflavik jumped to an early lead. They accumulated a 29:18 lead after ten minutes. The teams traded baskets throughout the second term. Keflavik managed to secure a 52:41 halftime buffer. Tindastoll cut the distance to 10 points with one quarter to go. Tindastoll went on a desperate comeback rally in the final frame. They unloaded 29 points but stopped just one shot away from victory. Jarryd Cole (200-F-88, college: Iowa) finished with 19 points, while Magnus Gunnarsson (186-G-81) added 17 points and 8 assists in the win. Maurice Miller (187-G-88, college: Georgia Tech) answered with 22 points for Tindastoll. Curtis Allen (193-G-86, college: ORU) had 18 points in defeat.
Grindavik is Lengjan Cup winner 2011 In a uptempo and lot of big run from both teams Grindavik came out with a 1 point lead. Grindavik started game very well and led 16-8 in first quarter but when Keflavik went to zone defense they got 8-0 run to tight the game up. This was the story of most of the game, grindavik got good run but then Keflavik came up with the same. Late in the game Keflavik got the lead up to 9 points but that was not enough and when you don't score in last two and a half minute you likely loose Scorers fro Grindavik.
