Spain celebrated the title in Sopron. They outgunned Czech Republic for the trophy. Spain controlled the tempo in the first half. They came up with a suffocating defensive effort to limit Czech Republic to just 14 points opening a 23-14 halftime lead. Czech Republic managed to narrow the deficit in the fourth quarter but Spain hung on to snatch the victory and triumph at the end. Txell Alarcon (179-PG-2003) posted 16 points, while Mama Dembele (168-G-2002) and Elba Garfella (185-PF-2003) added 6 points each for the champions. Dominika Paurova (183-F/C-2005) answered with 13 points for Czech Republic.

France - Italy 48-64
Italy thumped France to claim Bronze medals. They Azzurri stormed into the game. They established a 41-23 halftime lead. France narrowed the deficit in the second half but could not avoid the loss. Serbia cut the deficit at 4-point mark at halftime. But Poland followed with a decisive 22-12 rally in the third term to clear off for good. Alicija Rogozinska netted 19 points, while Kamila Borkowska (201-C-2002) added 14 points for Poland. Milica Matic (176-SG-2003) replied with 16 points for Serbia.

9-10 Place
Latvia - Finland 64-70
Finland clinched the 9th position as they beat Latvia in the final game at the tournament. Latvia opened a 23-13 lead after ten minutes. But Finland responded with a 25-16 run in the second term to narrow the gap. They went on a 15-8 run in the fourth period to seal the victory. Henna Sandvik (183-F-2003) notched 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Saana Kujala (184-F/C-2002) added 12 points for Finland. Marta Leimane replied with 12 points for Latvia.
11-12 Place
Sweden - Lithuania 71-44
Sweden finished 11th at the championship. They overcame Lithuania in the classification round tonight. Sweden grabbed a 32-12 halftime lead. They went on a 22-15 run in the fourth quarter to ice the win. Matilda Ekh (182-G/F-2002) scored 17 points, while Diana Collins (177-PG-2004) added 13 points for the winners.
