Spain clinched Division A title in Matosinhos. They cruised past Lithuania in the championship game tonight. Carla Viegas (175-G-2005) stepped up with 17 points to pace the champions. Spain used a 37-12 rally in the second period to take an unassailable lead in the Final. Somtochukwu Okafor (176-F/G-2008) and Judit Valero Rodriguez (180-G-2005) provided 16 points each for Spain. Daniele Paunksnyte (173-G-2007) replied with 21 points for Lithuania.
3-4 Place
Sweden - Italy 51-84
Italy knocked down Sweden to step onto the podium in Matosinhos. Candy Edokpaigbe (180-G-2005) posted 17 points to lead the Azzurri to the third place. Italy dominated from start to finish. They established a 38-26 halftime lead. Italy sank 46 points in the second half to ease to the win. Sophia Lussignoli (177-G-2005) netted 13 points for Italy. Tilda Trygger (198-F-2006) had 10 points and 14 rebounds for Sweden.

5-6 Place
Belgium - Israel 96-73
Belgium earned the fifth place in the championship as they cruised past Israel. Belgium recorded a comfortable 53-39 halftime lead. They kept Israel at bay throughout the second half and rallied to the win. Alicia Courthiau (176-F-2005) netted 21 points, while Louann Battiston (165-PG-2005) had 13 points for Belgium. Gal Raviv (175-G-2005) answered with 23 points for Israel.

7-8 Place
Iceland - Turkey 65-73
Turkey earned the 7th position at the tournament as they beat Iceland in their final game in Portugal. Turkey trailed by ten points after the first period. But Turkey went on a 44-23 run in the next two periods to spur ahead for good. Selin Tekin (161-G-2006) produced 17 points, while Elif Istanbulluoglu (190-F-2005) and Azra Ercelik (177-SF-2005) had 16 points each for Turkey. Kolbrun Armannsdottir (176-G-2007) replied with 14 points for Iceland.

9-10 Place
Poland - Germany 58-84
Germany cruised past Poland to earn the 9th place in Matosinhos. Germany went on a 45-24 first half run and rallied to the win in the second part of the game. Joanna Scheu tossed in 16 points, while Annika Soltau (192-PF-2005) added 15 points for Germany. Natalia Rutkowska (185-C-2006, agency: SPORTFORUM Agency) answered with 12 points and 11 rebounds for Poland.
11-12 Place
Slovenia - Latvia 74-79
Latvia went on a 29-11 run in the fourth period to beat Slovenia for the 11th place finish in Portugal. Evelina Otto (187-C-2006) scored 25 points and collected 10 rebounds, while Madara Smite (170-G-2006) added 21 points for the winners. Ajsa Sivka (190-PF-2005) answered with 13 points for Slovenia.

13-14 Place
Portugal - France 65-72
France avoided relegation as they outscored Portugal in the battle for the 13th place. France used a 24-12 run in the second period to take a 41-29 halftime advantage. les Bleues maintained the lead throughout the second half to race to a vital win. Elodie Lutbert (197-C-2005) finished with 11 points for France. Rita Nazario (165-G-2006) replied with 14 points for Portugal.

15-16 Place
Holland - Czech Republic 83-60
Netherlands claimed the 15th position at the championship. They knocked down Czechia in their last game. Keona Douwstra (174-SG-2006) scored 18 points to lead the winners. Czechia led by 7 points ten minutes into the game. But Netherlands went on a 44-22 run in the next two periods and never looked back en route to the win. Janna Vogelaar (183-G-2006) chipped in 11 points for the winners. Aneta Kytlicova (175-SG-2005) netted 16 points for Czechia.

Gina Garcia, 18-year old Spaniard point guard was voted the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA Under 20 EuroBasket. She plays For the Segle XXI Bercelona. Garcia received multiple other awards, was selected as the Best Guard and was chosen to the First Team. Her masterful distribution skills earned her the third spot in assists per game with an impressive average of almost 5. Garcia also averaged over 11 points per game during the event. Her 20 points against Turkey were the most she scored at the tournament. Despite her young age she had an impressive career. She was selected as the Eurobasket All-FIBA Under 16 European Championship Honorable Mention in 2023.
Daniela Silva, 25-year old forward was honored as the Best Forward of. She plays For the CF Belenenses Lisboa in Portugal. Silva was also named to the First Team. Silva's team won the Portuguese Division I Group South Regular Season in 2024.
Cristina Osazuwa, 20-year old Italian power forward earned the Best Center at the FIBA Under 20 EuroBasket. She plays For the Allianz Geas Sesto San Giovanni. Osazuwa also earned a spot in the First Team. It is Osazuwa's second year in the Italian Under 20 National Team. She also played for the Under 18 national team back in 2023. Osazuwa recorded 14 points and almost 8 rebounds per game at the event. She registered double-doubles in 2 games during the event. Osazuwa's 31 points against Holland were the most she scored at the tournament.
Daniele Paunksnyte, 18-year old Lithuanian guard was voted to the First Team of FIBA Under 20 EuroBasket. She plays For the Vilniaus Kibirkstis-MRU. Paunksnyte had almost 18 points and 6 rebounds per game at the event. Her 43 points against Israel were the most she scored at the tournament. Despite Paunksnyte's young age she had an impressive career. She was selected to the Eurobasket All-FIBA Under 16 European Championship Division B First Team in 2023.
Raina Tomasicka, 20-year old Latvian swingman was selected to the First Team at the FIBA Under 20 EuroBasket. She plays For the University of South Florida in the TheAAC. It is Tomasicka's second year in the Latvian Under 20 National Team. Tomasicka also played for the national team back in 2023. She was previously named to Honorable Mention last year selection. Tomasicka averaged 5 rebounds per game at the event. She led the European Championships Under 20 in points per game with over 24. Tomasicka has totalled 4 games of 20 or more points during the event. Her 39 points against France were the most she scored at the tournament. Despite her young age she had an impressive career. She was selected to the Eurobasket All-FIBA Under 18 European Championship Second Team back in 2022. Tomasicka was also selected as the Eurobasket All-Czech Republic ZBL Honorable Mention in 2023.
