1.DIVISION: Loimaa first time ever in Top League - Apr 4, 2011

1.Division Finals, Game # 5: The season is over. LoKoKo (Loimaa) and Korikobrat (Lapua) meeting eachother fifth time in the Finals and seventh time this season tonight. The winner is LoKoKo, Loimaa and the final digits 70-58 (33-32). Quarters: 18-17, 15-15, 23-16, 14-10. The hosts won the boards 52-31 and all three American players in double figures. LoKoKo, playing the third season in Division 1, was # 3 after the regular season, but Team got stronger and better all the time - and getting to the goal came perhaps earlier than Team management was hoping in the dreams. American Head Coach Greg Gibson and American G Maurice Horton (183-G-84, college: Mount Olive) have been in this kind of situation already twice before. Two times (in the spring 2007 and 2009) they have helped Karhu (Kauhajoki) from Division 1 to 'Korisliiga'. Now they were the key persons to do so at Loimaa.
