Team Volynbasket became the champion of Ukraine - Apr 25, 2012

The championship of Ukraine among the men's team Higher League. Lutsk basketball club "Volynbasket" became the champion of Ukraine, winning twice against "Kremen" (Kremenchug) - 80:72 and 83:72. The main competitor of Volyn in the fight for gold medal "Avantazh-Polytechnic" (Kharkiv) lost in one of two crucial matches to the team "Koksokh-Stal" (Alchevsk). These games ended with the following results: 86:92 and 125:66.

Thus, "Volynbasket" won gold awards of Ukraine championship, SK "Musson" (Sevastopol) took the second spot, "Avantazh-Polytechnic" won the bronze.

Aviastar win Ukrainian Cup trophy - May 21, 2012

Aviastar claimed Ukrainian Cup title. They overcame Musson 88:86 in the title clash. Vitaly Boyko (183-G-82) stepped up with 23 points to lead the winners.
Aviastar bravely entered the game building a 5-point lead after ten minutes 19:14. But Musson answered straight back scoring 34 points in the second frame and taking a 48:40 halftime advantage. Aviastar rebounded after the big break. The Zaporizhya team denied the deficit and eked out a narrow 68:65 advantage. Musson got closer in the final stanza but came up short of victory at the end. Sergei Fedorov (198-F-87) knocked down 17 points, while Anton Buts (201-F-88) added 13 points in the winning effort. Artem Shchepkin (194-G-86, agency: New Trend Agency) replied with 22 points for Musson. Nikola Eromin contributed 15 points in defeat.
VolinBasket clinched the Bronze medals beating BK Kremen 82:74 in consolation final.
