Hapoel Beer Sheva celebrated National League title. They edged Maccabi K/G on the road to sweep the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel B/S. Maccabi K/G managed to win second period 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Maccabi K/G to just 4 points in first quarter. Hapoel B/S made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Andell Cumberbatch (195-93, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: Ron Sport) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Hapoel B/S players scored in double figures. Hapoel B/S's coach Yaniv Burger used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
