Ironi Nes-Ziona celebrated National League title. They upset Hapoel B/S on the road to complete the sweep of the championship series. Hapoel B/S was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Ironi Nes-Ziona made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game, while Hapoel B/S only scored eight points from the stripe. It was a great evening for Golan Gutt (192-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) helped adding 11 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jason Williams (198-83, college: UTEP) with 27 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Jordan Lewis (195-89, college: Cal Poly - SLO) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Ironi Nes-Ziona celebrated the Leumit Cup title. They overcame Maccabi Rehovot in the Final. Lee Roberts (201-F/C-87, college: Findlay, OH) and Raviv Pitshon (201-PF-89) produced 16 points each to lead the winners. Ironi and Maccabi were tied at 16 after ten minutes. Ironi Nes-Ziona grabbed a 47:35 halftime lead. They held Maccabi Rehovot to just 8 points in the third term to boost the lead at 17-point mark. Maccabi Rehovot narrowed the gap in the fourth term but could not avoid the loss. Marquis Addison (195-G-91, college: Missouri So., agency: XL Basketball Agency) responded with 20 points for Maccabi. Evan Yates (198-F-91, college: Ashland) had 15 points in the defeat.
