Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia are crowned LegaDue champions. They overcame Centrale del Latte Brescia in the decisive fifth game of the title series to claim the trophy. Antonio Graves (191-G-85, agency: Two Points, college: Pittsburgh) stepped up with 17 points to lead the winners. Pistoia ensured a confident aggressive start to the game. They held Brescia to just 6 points in the first frame and gained a 9-point lead. Brescia however improved their performance in the next period. The visitors cut the deficit at 5-point mark at the interval 22:27. Things got even in the third term. Brescia denied the deficit as the teams entered the fourth period tied at 41. But the last quarter belonged to the hosts. Pistoia went on a commanding 19:6 run to seal the success.
