But Perfumerias Avenida won third quarter 14-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rivas Ecopolis forced 19 Perfumerias Avenida turnovers. International center Laura Nicholls (189-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. American Rachel Allison (185-87, college: Baylor) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Angelica Robinson (197-F-87, college: Georgia) came up with 18 points and 11 rebounds to pace the winners. She was named the MVP after the clash. Avenida got off to a perfect start. They accounted for nine unanswered points early in the encounter. Avenida secured a 16:9 lead after ten minutes. But Rivas Ecopolis denied the deficit in the second frame. They pulled ahead for a 25:24 halftime advantage. Perfumerias Avenida unloaded 23 points in the third term to regain the advantage. They were up by six points at the third break.
