BC Kalev/Cramo is the champion! - May 17, 2012

BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn is the Estonian champion after beating Tartu University 72:65 (30:31) and winning the series 4:0. Kalev/Cramo paved the way to the victory with a 11:2 run in the 4th quarter, giving them 64:54 lead with less than two minutes to play. Tartu fought hard in closing seconds but they couldnt get closer than within 5 points.
Tartu led 37:30 with 17 minutes to play but Kalev/Cramo won the next 6 minutes 20:6 (Fall 8, Toome 6) to go up 50:43. TU never took the lead again.

Bamba Fall (216-C-86, college: SMU) led the winners with a huge 18pts, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks. Gregor Arbet (194-F/G-83) added 13 and Joosep Toome (202-F-85) 10 pts. Bill Amis (205-F-87, college: Hawaii) led TU with 19 points. Tanel Sokk (184-G-85) was named the MVP of the final series.

It was the third Estonian title as a coach for former legendary player Aivar Kuusmaa. Kalev/Cramo had won all 14 play-off games in last two seasons (they won 3:0 against Tarvas in semis both last season and this season and repeated last year's 4:0 sweep against TU).
