The last game finished with 65:61 for Army that brought them gold medals. Army won the opening period 15-12, but the hosts managed to take 1-point advantage at the halftime. Army later needed 20-17 in the third period and 18-16 in the last to seal the victory. Earlier in April Superleague top team Army Sport Klub won the Regular Season. They won it with 18-2 record after they crushed seventh ranked Energy Invest (7-13) in Tbilisi 83-64. Army Sport Klub led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 32. With no foreigners in the team Army looked great in the whole season. The team rightfully clinched the title and celebrated the victory in the country. Army won Super Cup - May 29, 2011 Army becomes the absolute winner of the 2010-11 Georgian basketrball season To the title of Superleague's champions, Georgian Cup Winners, they added supercup. In Super Cup, they met with the Georgian Cup finalist MIA. Army was in full roster and MIA was without Troy Cotton and Giorgi Markoishvili. Game went without surprises.
