Hapoel T-A won the National League title - May 16, 2012

A great season comes to an end as Hapoel Tel Aviv the most dominate team in the Israeli 2nd league this season (22-4) won the finals series against Bear Yaakov 3-1, and returns to the 1st league after 6 years.

By returning to the 1st league after the club collapsed 6 years ago, they made history as they had a new fresh start from the 5th league in Israel and now they will play next season in the 1st league. Erez Edelshtein the team's coach helped the team securing the 1st place and returned to be an head coach as his last team was Hapoel Jerusalem (he was an assistant coach in Olympiacos on 2008).

Hapoel Tel Aviv eliminated Bear Yaakov 83-56 in the last final game of the season. Top scorers:
