    Maccabi Tel-Aviv are crowned Winner League champions. They outgunned Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion in the championship game tonight. They took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Rishon won third quarter 23-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rishon 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Maccabi T-A looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Liberian-American center Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agency: David Lee Services) fired 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American power forward Amare Stoudemire (208-82) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Maccabi T-A players scored in double figures. Deni Avdija (206-F-01) was named the MVP after the game. American guard DAngelo Harrison (193-93, college: St.John's, agency: 3Eye) produced 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Oz Blayzer (200-92) added 13 points respectively for lost side.

    Hapoel Jerusalem repeat as State Cup winners in Israel. They triumphed in Tel Aviv with a 92-89 win over Ironi Nahariya in the Final game. Both teams exchanged narrow leads in the first half and stayed mostly close throughout the whole game. However Hapoel Jerusalem had the upper hand at the end as they managed to eke out a tough victory at the end.
    J'Covan Brown (188-PG-90, college: Texas, agency: 3Eye) was named MVP finishing with 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. James Feldeine (193-SG-88, college: Quinnipiac) followed him with 23 and Tashawn Thomas (203-F-93, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) collected 11 points and 13 rebounds.     Hapoel Jerusalem conquered the first trophy of the season. They edged Maccabi Tel Aviv for the Winner Cup title. James Feldeine (193-SG-88, college: Quinnipiac) nailed 21 points to pace the winners.
    It was a close battle from start to finish. Hapoel managed to eke out a 28:20 lead after ten minutes. But Maccabi bounced right back. They went on a 26:18 run in the second quarter to tie things up at 46 heading into the long break. Maccabi sank 19 points in the third quarter to take a narrow 2-point lead at the final break. Maccabi stretched the lead to as many as 6 points in the fourth term 78:72. But Hapoel immediately responded with 10:0 run to surge ahead. They protected a narrow lead in the dying seconds and raced to the win. Suleiman Braimoh (203-F/C-89, college: Rice) posted 16 points in the victory. Elijah Bryant (196-G/F-95, college: BYU, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds for Maccabi. Omri Casspi (206-SF-88) had 14 points in the defeat.
