Zalgiris celebrated the seventh straight LKL title. They beat Lietkabelis in the fifth game of the championship series to capture the trophy. Lukas Lekavicius (180-PG-94) scored 23 points to pace the champions. Lietkabelis and Zalgiris stayed neck and neck throughout the opening frame. The teams were tied at 15 heading into the second quarter. Zalgiris spurred ahead in the second stanza. The Kaunas team unloaded 27 points to take a 9-point halftime lead. Lietkabelis slowed their opponents in the third term. The visitors pulled within six points at the final intermission. Lietkabelis limited 15 points in the fourth stanza but could not stop Zalgiris from clinching the trophy. Paulius Jankunas (205-PF-84) provided 16 points and 9 rebounds, while Edgaras Ulanovas (197-G-92) added 12 points in the victory. Zygimantas Skucas (201-SF-92, agency: Octagon Europe) and Ksistof Lavrinovic (209-C-79) delivered 12 points each in the loss.

Zalgiris Kaunas got awarded with the Lithuanian Cup trophy defeating Lietkabelis 84-63 as Edgaras Ulanovas (197-G-92) was named MVP of the game. Zalgiris took control from the first minutes of the game and ensured an 18-10 lead after the first 10 minutes of the game. Lietkabelis was too far to give up and replied with a 23-13 surge in the second period. They could not however match the opponents in the second half as Zalgiris Kaunas needed 28-17 and then 22-13 respectively in the third and the last stanzas. Kevin Pangos (188-PG-93, college: Gonzaga) and Brock Motum (208-F/C-90, college: Washington St.) posted 14 points each to lead all the winners, while Leo Westermann (197-G-92, agency: BeoBasket) scored 12 and Paulius Jankunas (205-PF-84) as well as Edgaras Ulanovas had 10 each. Ben Madgen (193-G/F-85, college: Augusta) and Simas Galdikas (204-F/C-87) delivered 11 points each in a loss.
